Hey guys, I'm in the development process of my website and I'd like some feedback on its design/layout. Phoenix Styles - http://www.phoenixstyles.com/index.php If you go to the customers area, you can see more Alex
Excellent layout, also its good that only that small area is flash so you can still get crawled well by the SEs.
Looks nice but I have some comments. The letters in the menu are hard to read because they are small together with that shadow. I dont understand the empty space between the PS LATEST NEWS info and customer login. Nice logo
Thanks for the comments guys. Medvidek. - I may change the letters in the menu, but I quite liked that pixelized look...others have agreed, while u and a few others have disagreed. I may change this, I may not...have to see later on. - The space between PS LATEST NEWS and Customer login where the navigation bar stretched across the width of the template...i'm just going to keep that in case I need more buttons for the nav...I changed the color of it though so it doesn't appear that it's just blank space on where the navigation is. (if that makes any sense?) Thanks for the constructive criticism, much appreciated.
You sign up by buying one of our skins, however, they are not yet for sale. I'll keep everyone at DP informed when the site is released!
Yuck IPB forum...i'd want to make it all flashy and much better than the IPB default look...that's sort of our mission for all IPB skins we sell - to better the look of ur IPB (soon to be ur vbulletin forum as well, but we are expanding into that later)
I have a newly coded IPB forum, I want to get a better looking skin, could you help me with this? I check on Invisionize for free skins, they dont look too good but are ok. http://skins.invisionize.com/index.php
A few people have mentioned this, but it's obvious the site isn't about cars (especially once the skins are up for everyone to see!). I'll probably change this, but you can argue it both ways (and people do..it's basically 50/50). On one side you have people saying cars don't have anything to do with skins, but on the other side, you get people debating that it's a unique style... Any suggestions on what I should have there instead?
The site doesn't require a large content area because it's simply where you go to buy skins, login to check your purchases, and receive support in the customer forums. No advertisements will be on the site, no pages full of text, so it really doesn't need to be a wide/large template.
I'd only sell if the offer was amazing, but otherwise, I'm keeping it to start my IPB/Vbulletin Skinning website
