I'd be keen to visit and rate any Squidoo lens created by DP members. So, just like we Digg each others posts, perhaps we could use this thread to promote any lenses we want rated. There are two ways we can do this... It's a bit like having a collection of personal wiki pages with information and links to relevant resouces and a bit of ecommerce thrown in. Right now I'm testing it for traffic and PR since the revenue-sharing hasn't gone live. I'm unconvinced of the actual value but it's a bit of fun and I've got to put all that Hilary Duff and Volcano stuff somewhere (apparantly) and I don't want it on my blog. The system is incredibly easy to use and it does mean that things like my Diggs can get extra visibility with no effort on my part (your captcha entry is visible already). Ranking is based on traffic and votes and like anything ranking matters - it's just the degree that is unknown. If you look at the top few lenses they are all PR3 or PR4 and have been rated by <20 people so it shouldn't take much to boost our own lens.
Right. Ok Ill register and check how it works. BTW did you add the great stuff on amazon or squidoo. Coz curently it shows head first design patterns ads and I am a huge fan of Kathy Sierra/Head first series.
The amazon section can be random based on a key phrase or hand picked. Those design patterns are from a random block.
