Alright so I I started a thread recently about my has my campaign failed. People recommended I make a squeeze page and not sue adtoll for trafic and to pick a less crowded field. So Here is my first attempt.

I have signed up on yahoo search marketing under about 20 keywords. I am waiting to activate the campaign though until my account goes through with the bonus soon.

So basically rate my squeeze page and tell me any glaring problems you can see with it. I appreciate the help so much. You guys and gals rock!

Sorry, but your blog's hoplink to clickbank is not working. Might want to fix it before asking for a review.

too many ads, and you're really not selling a solution to a customers problem.

okay cool sorry about that hoplink being broken. I accidently added a few extra keystrokes to it.

I removed a bunch of ads and went with the angle of not why you should get the book but of
Hey you arent catching anything now, neither was I till read this book. this book will teach you how to catch bass.

Is that better at solving a customers problem?

    thanks again!

Just to clarify...a squeeze page is used to gather the email address of your visitors through an opt-in form. What you have posted would be considered a sales page.

When andrew1056 mentioned "selling a solution to a customers problem", he probably meant that you are not appealing to desperate buyers who need the product. For example - you might want to try a page/post that says something like...

"Tired of coming home empty-handed on your fishing trips? Get the insider secrets that will fill your boat with trophy size trout every time!"

Hope this helps - good luck.

He's absolutely right about that . wanderingrobots check out my second signature . That's a squeeze page .

One more thing not everybody uses google ads on their sale page . You might lose some serious sales . Perhaps you should look for other fishing guides and put their banners in your blog .

Do you want to make $ 20 to $ 30 commission per sale ? or Do you want to earn $ 0.20 per click ?

I would pick the first one if I were you .

Hey everyone. I didnt intend to put ads on the sales page. I am using wordpress and I need to read up on how I can just put a page up with a seperate template as part of the same site. I just didnt think its a problem but I very clearly see your point about the .20 cent clicks. I am going to go investigate some competitors sites after I eat lunch and look into how to remove ads on just 1 page. Thanks alot!

I thought a squeeze page was where you collect emails? I didn't get banged with an offer to be put on a list when I went to this site.

haha yeah sorry I used the wrong terminology. I thought it was called a squeeze page because it squeezed buyers into deciding to make a purchase. I went back and got a whole new template, cleaned it up a bunch found good pictures to put on the side and rewrote the page. what do you guys think now.

This is a landing page, not a squeeze page, and I liked the top one more simply because it had less links leading to random pages that most likely won't make as much money as you would from the clickbank sales.

The squeeze page should be simple and straight to the point. You want to collect your visitor's first name and email address so that you can do follow up to your visitor. The example of simple squeeze page is (superaffiliatementor.com)

I would use some fishing related stock photos on the main part of your page (this is a pretty good free stock site: http://www.sxc.hu/)

The page is really clean which is good, but it doesnt make me want to take action or buy anything. Experiment with colors to highlight certain features and use more pictures and imagery.
