Hi, I don't want to post this in "sell site" section yet, so I believe this is the best place to ask you fellow webmasters for your help. I'm leaving worldwide market and trying to put my effort to my country only. But there's one site left I don't want just delete. I'm thinking about selling it but since I have already similiar one (and very successful one) in czech language, I don't want to sell it just for couple dollars. I'm not sure if anybody outside a game arcade market can appreciate its quality. Is it better try to offer my site via email to bigger players on this market or post auction on DP? How much you rate my site? I think it has a nice design, a great SEO, a lot of quality game with screenshots, descriptions and controls. There is also fully functional admin panel with remote game download, RSS, newsletters... and 2 original highscore games. About 2k visitors and $3 a day. http://www.freegamestower.com/
Thats a very good arcade...a pr4 domain and 167,821 alexa, if i were you i wud place an auction on DP and sitepoint (yes both) and start the auction from $300 but that also depends on what have you earned out of the adsense/other monetization on the website.
Well thank you all but $300? Really? I think more like $3000 could be better start. Let's calculate, 2 months of programing and designing, 2 months (almost 8 hours a day) of filling the database, nice domain + rank + some stable visits traffic. For $300 or something like that I can just shut it down and I'll probably do. It will relieve my server's HDs / CPU load and especially cut out worldwide data traffic ($150/month). Anybody else thinks I can only dream about higher revenue?
well i told you it wud be a good start at that. but as you described in the "just above" post only you can value your own website because you know what you invested and what you should get. and i thought that was a pre-made script but if you've spent 2 months coding it maybe the site's worth $3000 too.
Yeah, maybe I can value it by myself even better, question is.. is there anybody willing to pay for it? I'm trying to get a picture of a situation before I start auction ending with some grimy dollars in my pocket I'm not familiar with worldwide market as you all maybe are. So I'm trying to find out how much people usually pays for site like this and if DP or other boards fit my needs anyway. Watching another auction here I realized there are not many high-valued sites and people often rated them according to their adsense revenue which not always gets appropriate value. Maybe I will try to offer site to my recent competition personally
The price is depend on many thing for example PR and seems that quite high PR4.And this will added value to your site worth.$500 is the fair price for your website.
Over 1k games + daily updates is enough. More content = bad content. I hate these gamepacks with thousands of old and terrible games inside
