Hi, H1 is one of the basic tags in HTML. It stands for: Heading1. There are predefined Heading tags in HTML (H1 to H6) with different styles used as headings. Usage: "<h1> Best SEO techniques </h1>" The Heading and also other styles are more friendly to search engines because they are used to point out something - and the SE grab that word/phrase more often than the other text. Filenames could be more descriptive, and use dash: TechNew.html -> Tech-News.html The "featured articles" would rank better in SERPs if you'd have the article subject in titles rather than just featured article 1 etc. Titles could be improved sitewide actually: "Tech News Technologydigger.com" is better than "Technologydigger.com Tech News".

hello can some one help me interpret all that info from above also I am happy to say that my site does show up in good posisions for some odd ball gadget names but since no one is specidically looking for them I have only had about 10 people from the search engines......I bought a blogpost on a pr2 site similar to mine and I hope this helps a little I also submitted to a couple of my firneds pr3 directory's.
