Please rate my niche website lightbulbsinfo.co.cc I'm a newbie at internet marketing I've been using this guide In need of constructive criticism!
It was very slow to open your hosting is probably to blame. Other then that it looks like a wordpress site with some articles taken from ezine. Duplicate probably quadruplicate content that will never rank. My advice would be to get a better host and get some real content that you write or pay someone to write.
YES, it needs some work. It looks like you didn't try very hard. For starters I would : 1. Buy a real domain 2. get some real hosting Now I understand if you are on a budget and if this is the case, consider what you have temporary until you can afford it. 3. Do some better keyword research!!!! you are not going to rank for "Light Bulbs Information", at least not anytime soon 4. Write your own content. How can you promote your website when you are scraping your content from EZA 5. use a better meta description. If you ever do get ranked, "Information About Light Bulbs" is not going to entice very many clicks 6. get a better looking theme, the one you have is ugly 7. get a more SEO friendly theme, preferably one that allows you to use text in the header instead of an image. That graphic does not do much for you in terms of SEO. It would be better to have your primary KW in your header 8. Do more on page seo -- decide what keywords you are going to target and optimize your page for them. make use of the h1, h2, h3 tags, use bold and italics 9. Where are your calls to action? what are you promoting? I will stop here, because I think I have made my point. I could add A LOT MORE to this list. If you want to be serious about internet marketing you need to look at the big picture and start putting in a little bit more effort
The main things I would do: -Write your own content. Autoblogs generally don't do as well as handwritten blogs (there are exceptions, but a newbie is unlikely to break the norm). -Buy your own domain and host it with a good company -If you don't get your own domain, get rid of that blogroll. You're pointing viewers away from your site. Syndicated content, not duplicate content. Hard to rank, not impossible. It's all about what keywords he targets for the content.
Thanks a lot everyone for your criticism. I will apply it. I just can't get the hosting and the domain yet, I have like no budget.
