Rate my Ebook Design

    just a little note here, it happens all the time in Photoshopped stuff - you forgot local shadowing.

    You did a great job with the stretching and scaling everything in, it looks 'right', but what you're missing is some subtle shadowing you'd find on the surface of a real object as it falls under light.

    When video games don't have local shadows, they call it 'fullbright', try googling that and maybe see what I mean.

    Just find a photo of a book in this setup and see where it's a bit darker, try to replicate that.

    hey, no problem, I see this all the time when designers photoshop license plates onto cars, or pictures into other pictures. It's a detail thing and for me it ruins it, but it's sad because they went 95% of the way there and already did all of the hardest work.

    I don't doubt that you'll remember to do it next time and hit it bang on!
