Rate My Design

here's a design based off of flyer graphics created by the event compnaies graphic designer. I was hired to design a website for them, so I'm integrating Wordpress into the site and Flash media here and there for neat lil' things, the right side VISIT US will feature rotating ads from sponsors.

Short notice website, only up for this once a year event, and due within a week.



What do you rate this?

I would say 6 or 7/10
Why? The black and white buildings don't go with the logo, all of the white text seems weird. Try adding some graphics by the category names in the content.

 

I like it a lot...I would say an 8 out of 10. I'm not usually a fan of headers that have a large height, but this definitely looks good.

That looks awesome. I'm not sure what Website_Tiger is talking about, the buildings match fine with the rest of the header, not perfect, but it works. 9/10.

 

It is very cool. 9.9/10 I think.

 

Good design, it would be more beautiful if you can change the font in the web contents.

I think it's really really nice! The only thing i might think you could have removed or done somehing with, is the keynotes at the very top.

I would say 9/10.

I'm not a designer though, but i think i have an eye for good ones

Fantastic design overall! You are off center with the tri-colum though...might just be my screen. Also, I would move "EMF NEWS" slightly left a bit (Personal pref).
