Hi, I'm looking for some suggestions and feedback on my current site design (Entirely done by me, no template, strict dreamweaver + coding experience)

I like the general look of the site, but I feel that it's missing that thing that makes it "POP", and I'm not sure what it is. So please suggest some things that could make it look more professional and give off a trustworthy vibe.

The site is still under construction, therefore you have to access it through a unique html page given below.

Most of the links have pages that they link to (Other than the store, it is currently being setup)

    *Some pages are still incomplete*

The link to the site is: momentumautoworks.com/siteindx.html (I don't want this indexed by google yet =P )

I really don't want to redo the entire template, I can spruce up the css. The flash that's on it right now is going to be changed, what's on there now is just a sort of flash placeholder.

Any specific ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The top part of your site looks really nice. The bottom part isn't as pretty. the "company news" and "new products" buttons are too big and don't look that great. The actual content is fine, but I would try working in some pics in there as well. Have you though about using the full screen width?

The full screen width does not look nice at all, I've tried and experimented with it a few times.

Once the site is done there will be a lot more images/content on it.

NoamBarz, what were you thinking of for the company news/new products buttons? If I shrank them, or moved them where would could they go?

    Braydo,

    Here is few suggestions.
    1. Change the Header Menu buttons. (its too ugly and make the entire site so dull) (Store, blog, RSS and etc.)
In other words, try to change the icons of the buttons. Make it little bit smaller. Its too big.
    2. Change the submenu border line width. Its too heave. See the dropdown menus, and you can see the lines
between each menu is too big. Make it simple. like ______ this line. Also, remove the empty submenus before
the "Home" and after "Company" , and just fill the entire width with the submenu buttons.
    3. Inside the body, the Headers are left aligned and its really not fit with this site. Make it fullwidth to the body
and align the text to the left.

    Cheers
    - John

The header overlaps the top portion of the body. At least it looks that way on my end. I'm using latest Firefox.

Change the background (stripes) color to something else. Or you could change the black and white gradient in the flash to another color. There isn't enough contrast.

    Thanks for the feedback.

@afronova: The flash is something I have been planning on changing. I understand what your saying and definantly agree.

    @DanRush: Thanks
