oldboy, shogun assassin, ichi the killer, hard boiled, the killer, zatoichi the blind swordsman, fist of the northstar... add any cool ones you feel worth mentioning.
Oldboy isnt a rare movie, what are you talking about? It's being produced by Tartan Video and is part of the Vengeance trilliongy. Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, Oldboy and Lady Vengeance all directed by South Korean Director Park Chan-Wook. There are a few contorvesrial moments in Oldboy which include Oh Dae-su (Choi Min-sik) Easting an Octopuse alive, (he really did that) aswell as an incest scene of the main protagonist Oh Dae-su (Choi Mik-sik) having sex with his daughter It's based on a manga series written by Garon Tsuchiya and illustrated by Nobuaki Minegishi. Ichi the Killer is an Old cult classic and it has 3 different versions if I remember correctly and Fist of the North star is also known as Ken, the great bear fist. Which is an old old anime film. Next you'll probably be telling us that Azumi 1/2 are rare films.
haven't heard this....are they good??? im kind of movie watcher that wants to know first the whole story before i watch it...(a lil bit odd)
well i never heard about these movies.... what type of movies these r ? i m loving r fightingR .........??????????????
Geez, how many times are people going to say "blah I've never heard of these movies, they any good? blah" 1. If you want to know the plot, either wikipedia it or watch it. 2. Different people have different opinions on movies, if I say it's good because I like it, DOESN'T mean that you would like it too, you're the only one who can judge that and thats by watching it. Yes I PERSONALLY think that they are good films, if you think that you would like them too, go and watch them.
Oldboy is definitely worth a watch. One of my fave movies. If you want a sugestion of films that aren't that popular or well know all that's coming to mind for me at the moment is Revengers Tragedy. Directed by Alex Cox in 2002. Stars Eddie Izzard, Christopher Eccleston and Derek Jacobi. My DVD of it is published by Tartan, but I dunno if they're still doing it or not.
