Anyone that keeps current with pool knows that you AND your dad were promoters for that event. Why else would the APA reps want to meet with the both of you?

    I have to agree.

It also is not a new thing for a domain to lapse, not necessarily because of any lack of due diligence by the owner; for example, this recent example saw the registrar fail to renew the domain despite the customer paying in advance to renew the domain.

Trust me, this instance is ALL about due diligence (or lack thereof). Have you seen how difficult it is to let a domain expire when it is reg'd with Godaddy?

There are so many email notifications, redemption and grace periods that it is amazing quite frankly, that any of their domains get dropped accidentally. Let alone one whose owner's "livelyhood" depends on it so much.

Yep, I agree Bob parsons(ceo godady) loves to send that please renew domain as well as have reps call you , ten times a day asking to buy more shit..

I know I have been a godaddy customer for 3 years and 1500 domains later

So , I do agree - Godaddy is hard to loose domains,

I got to say.. any sympathy I might have had with Brady in this whole thing has evaporated. As I stated in my first post, if he would have just handled himself in this whole thing a bit better he likely would have gotten to a reasonable solution.

Instead, it seems at every step of the way he makes the wrong decision, and it is a bit puzzling. One again, BDMunee had NOTHING to do with you losing your name. Your name was not pirated. You are now on record as lying to your clients.

You lost your domain because YOU screwed up. Your e-mail should have said that.

    "Dear Clients,

I made a huge error. With so much going on in my life, I left the renewal of my domain name to another party, and unfortunately that was a mistake on my part. Because of this oversite I have lost the domain. The good news is I have vbwebsites.net and am in the process of moving everything over there. I appreciate your patience and your support during this time of upheaval. I hope you all are enjoying the 4th of July Holiday."

Above is the kind of message a professional would send out to their clients. What you sent out... what can I say...... It is patently false and you take no responsibility for your actions.

Right-o I'm going to leave this thread open because I'd rather comment was made here rather than in a new thread. Yes it was a hijacked thread but the circumstances were unusual.

bdmunee - start a new thread for the official auction and reference the high bid from this thread. Post the link in here.

I'll check with the mods to see if this should be moved as it doesn't fit the B/S/T criteria.

Well you have to ADMIT, this whole thing has brought much traffic to the sale,

Sometimes domains get none, and last I heard the high offer was $2500

    So either way you win!

Take it easy.. All Sarah did was point out the thread to the previous owner, thinking it might have been a mistake.... She is not responsible for his actions.

Well, not only did she point it out to the old owner , she PUBLICLY made that statement, which I am not saying is wrong but was the first "jacking" I would say but then again she is a MOD, so that might have been her job

It was a mistake alright. Big fuckin' mistake - she clearly knew that I was the rightful/legal owner of this domain but she took it upon herself to place a call to the old owner thereby initiating the thread hijacking in the first place.

If you had kept your mouth shut and not boasted how the owner messed up and lost their domain by mistake and just listed the auction - then it probably wouldn't have happened - and maybe DMOZ wouldn't have pulled the listing.

Yeah sure, pull this finger and it sings jingle bells.

You are clearly a moron - I have never seen an expired domain yet that wasn't yanked from DMOZ.

So you were trying to scam a buyer when you originally listed the domain as "DMOZ listed" - as you knew it was going to be pulled.

Yeah, I would trust buying something from you - and the Phantom $2,500 bidder.

Did you even make it out of the third grade? I guess it must be real difficult for an elementary school reject to read huh? Why don't you go grab the nearest 10 year old to help you and go look at my original post - do you see anything at ALL about DMOZ?
