I don't believe so. Why don't you just download it and scan it when it's on your PC? It can't infect your pc without starting it.

I don't Rapidshare scans the file it hosts. You PC should have its own Antivirus/Antispyware. If the file you downloaded is infected, your Antivirus will neutralize it, your PC won't get infected.

if you have an anti-virus on your computer, just download it because if theres a virus or a trojan your computer will detect it, use avast anti virus that helps

Considering this is a webmaster forum perhaps someone will code a site that will do exactly that. ;)

try migrating to linux, you have less concern about virus. :) I tested linux, and there's no turning back for me.

If it's a small file, download & upload to NoVirusThanks or VirusTotal ( even better if you can do both ) ! There's no way to check it without downloading.

If you meant Rapidshare - then yes, they are fine to use - they provide the tool/service, not the files. Uploaders provide the files.
I would still scan to be sure - not only for viruses, but also for Malware/Trojans.

    Enjoy

Hi...I dont think there is anyway to check if a file is infected before downloading it.....U can better scan it before opening it to ensure that your system does not get infected..
