Reading a few forums on vistor numbers, someone suggested to host a rapidshare premium generator on my site. Has anyone do this and can they briefly explain what it is, if it's worth doing and how do I do it. Thanks heaps
yep i've done it but unless you have lots of time, money and a very powerful server on your hands i wouldn't expect an income from it unless you have some experience in marketing. that's just my opinion, but it definitely could be a good way to get traffic to your site if you are ready to spend some money on rapidshare premium accounts. essentially all the php script does (you can also do it with perl, python and so on) is 'stream' a file directly from rapidshare servers to your user via a premium account, but without your end-user never needing to know the premium account details. it's a lot simpler than it probably sounds...i have a small one (ready made) that doesn't use mysql if you are interested in purchasing it. pm me if you need more info!
