it looks ok. You should fix the links on the bottom of the homepage, ex; rapidshare.com perhaps change them to

Rapidshare.com,

i agree, with changing the names to make it look better, + the sites very good i think ill be using that quite alot

 

I suggest you put capital letters on the names of those search engines, as well as color code them maybe?

Add some styling to your button area and text box and make it completely web 2.0.

Nice search engine. This could really come in handy, I don't know of any file searches that allow you to search through megaupload and file factory files. And most of the rapidshare one usually end up asking you to sign up for something.

 

can i know where i can get this script? its almost same with my site but yours look more interested

 

Rapidshare.de is certainly not in most peoples top 5, .de is dead mate compared to .com and the other file hosters. Can i suggest changing to megashare instead of rapidshare.de

nice, it's pretty slow. I'm guessing that's due to a lack of an index

Also I have a suggestion to make it a meta search engine
So not only would you have the ability to search each one of those site's individually but in a single search you return results from all of the sites collectively. I believe that would be a major strength of such a search engine.

lol buddy. It's a custom designed script and it's not even remotely similar to yours as it's 1000x times more powerful

Ya even I was thinking of that from a few days. If more ppl vote on that one...I'll make that change and code it accordingly. What do others say about changing Rapidshare.de to Megashares?

The Search Engine is not at all Slow. It's actually so fast you wont believe your eyes.
It's just that....everytime your links(a.k.a search results) are displayed...they are checked whether they are dead or still alive(inbuilt auto-link-checker) and gives you the display accordingly...and hence the lag of 4-5 seconds for the display of results!

RED = DEAD LINKS
GREEN = LIVE AND WORKING LINKS

And about the META Search Engine idea...we'll be providing that option too very soon in our Advanced Search Features where you can display all of the results together if you wish to

As far as the lag goes - no matter the reason for it ... I counted a roughly 20 second lag and that can really drag users away.

 

The lag isn`t that much of a problem because the script is very nice

 

Ok, my appologies I counted a 20 second lag last night but it's only a couple seconds now. Maybe the internet was acting up.

Anyway, good job, looking forward to that meta capability.

And SitPoMk..I'll be working on reducing the load time so that the link-verification happens on the fly and not before the pageload. That shall make the site 100x times faster than it is right now.

I was thinking more of adding Megashares/Netload than SendSpace as they are more widely used these days.
