Rapidshare clone business (need help)

Hello

I'm thinking of making a website like rapidshare, i got the name, i got the script. The script is http://www.websitescripts.org/website-scripts/file-hosting-script-rapidshare-clone-/prod_57.html, but i don't have any ideas on how to start, like if i will need a server? How big will the server be? How much money should i spend on the server? What server should i get? etc etc.

Please help me out.

Yes you will need at least VPS for starting.

Around $1000 will be sufficient for marketing+design+server.

 

ic what servers do you recommend.

 

i think you would need some major bandwith for this and the cost will be high and there are so many rapidshare clones out there now it isnt even funny

 

Try a VPS...

100GB Disk / 2TB Bandwidth would be a good start in my opinion, as you can always upgrade as the site progresses.
