Started up a rapidlibrary /loadingvault type of rapidshare search engine. http://rapidburner.com About my site and my thoughts on rapidshare search engines Right now it is searching the web for 5 file download sites. rapidshare, mediafire, bodango, sendspace, 4shared. Basically some of the main ones other rapidshare search engines are searching for. I can add as many file download sites as I want but 95% of the results will always be rapidshare links. The links are usually of better quality as well. I removed megaupload for the time being because so many of their links contained trojans and password protected RAR archives to earn with cpa offers & worthless junk like that. A good majority of their links were bad/dead links as well. I also disabled the "submit links" option on my website, as a lot of people started submitting all of those trojans, password protect files. Loadingvault recently removed around 15 file download sites from its database, I believe because the quality of the links were so poor, and again, rapidshare was the majority of the database to begin with anyway, rapidshare is KING afterall. I'm trying to focus on the same thing with http://rapidburner.com as I think its better not to flood the database with too many file download sites. I'm not a fan of the rapidshare search engines that give results in the form of the typical google search results. There are many unrelated forum threads and blog posts, diggs, stumbles in the search results that get in the way of finding what you are looking for. Most of the search results on these google based rapidshare search engines are links that make you search a 3rd party source such as a forum thread just to find out that there are no links on that page at all, just hits for the keywords you were searching for. This is why I like the rapidshare search engines that show nothing but file download links. Its more efficient to giving your visitors what they are looking for in a shorter period of time, rather than sending them to the source website to sift through the content to find the download link(if there is even one to download that is). No search engine is perfect, I just feel direct link results are more efficient in finding the file your looking for in less time, thats all. Advertising Revenue: I do have zango on my site, just like rapidlibrary/loadingvault, and several other of the big boys... But so far I have 80% of my traffic as direct address/bookmark, so returning traffic is really nice to see especially since zango is on my site. I just thought I'd mention that as I'm sure it would be one of the 1st things DP members would critique & point out about rapidburner & what they would like to see changed(especially with all the affiliate/cpa network guru's on here ). I may take zango down eventually and use adbrite popups, but some people actually hate those full page ads just as much as zango. Any thoughts/comments about design, function, I'm all ears.. would you rather see popup ads rather than zango? adsense is always an option but I never really earned much with it.
Nice functionality but there are a lot of sites like this. I am impressed you have considered the users by removing mega upload etc.. which shows you care about the site. Maybe change the design a bit and add some info saying how you are protecting users e.g. by removing user submit etc..
Hi! you result is good for sturt but you can add something more from rapidshare1.com you can add there result on the end of your result... & i have question abaout zango i di'nt see it why? please help me about this... & send me tips of it thanks
The design is great. Maybe you could create "Mega Burner" a search engine for megaupload too. I think if you offer both search engines you have a chance to be better than all the other serch engines for rapidshare.
Thanks for the reviews guys. M@fia, about zango, its there if you click on a search result , it brings up the zango gateway. Does it not show for you? What happens when you click on a search result?
The site has a nice look and feel to it but I agree with lucozade111 there are quite a bit of sites out there like this, you need to do something to set yourself apart from the other sites.
your right boba, I'm trying to SEO rapidburner.com but I'm not great at it. Trying to focus on a few keywords and also trying to buy ads on various sites where rapidshare search engine would be of use...
Couple problems, - everything links to Zango... users will never return - looks WAY too spammy - the search engine is not good, does not yield quality results - saturated market, 100s of these sites exist.. why choose yours over theres?
hi ! i use zango in my site today : http://www.rapid2share.com please reveiw my site today & where can i put zango code for best result & my visitor not click on exit thanks
Hi. This is my first post in this forum. I´m owner of filecrop.com, it is another rapidshare search engine too. I used zangocash during a time: 95.15$/month, 89.56$/month 48.50$/month 46.80$/month, 40.65$/month.. so I stopped. Now i´m searching the best choice to monetize my site, trying clicksor and paypop but not so good results. Thanks, Rui.
