Dude...it's the same thing. Providing access or a gateway to illegal downloads makes you just a guilty as the people downloading illegal or copy written material.

Just because you post a little snippet, does not get you off the hook...that argument doesn't fly anymore.

Everyone knows what those sites are for...funny thing is, I have 3 sites that sell music and I don't seem to have a problem getting people to download music legally, and making money when they do, why give away access for illegal downloading, when you don't even make any money on the download?
Just for the ads?

Just because others are doing it, doesn't mean that it is O.K.
Do you have any idea where these sites are hosted? What country?
Because in the U.S., CA, GB, IT, JP, FR, AU, and other western nations, they are illegal downloads.

This is an old argument. 1000 wrongs don;t make it right. I am sure the companies affected are not O.K. with people providing a gateway for others to get their product without paying for it, as I am sure that you would not be O.K. with another webmaster completely copying your site.

And one more thing...You are not accessing files found online, you are accessing files found on Warez networks. That is a completely different thing.
The average person starts up their computer and logs on to Google , Yahoo, or MSN, NOT Kaaza,, Rapid Share, Limewire, Bearshare. These are not internet search engines, they are file sharing networks. And many the people that have uploaded files on them, have not uploaded something that they have made, own or created, they have uploaded other peoples work.

It's not a community of savvy internet enthusiasts, it's a network of people who are just too cheap to spend .99 cents on a song, and it gives them joy to circumvent the system and rip people off. Plain and Simple.

daryo, in case you didn't know, you can report illegal files indexed by Google to get them removed. If you are so confident, would you be willing to allow someone to report you to Google? Then you try to explain what your site does. You are providing a gateway for illegal downloads. You enter the keywords in manually, so don't even BS on that part. You want those things to get indexed on purpose. I know the script okay? If you search PHP, not all files with PHP come up on your search engine. If you type vBulletin, a lot of vBulletin warez files come up. You just keep lying when you don't know what you are doing is wrong. At least if you are going to get involved with such illegal activities, follow the T.O.S. of Google. I understand if you index all RapidShare results, but you only specify keywords that are searched by Warez users.
