I started RapGiant.com back in July of 2006. It's a website with a custom design made by me. The blog is running on Wordpress and content is extremely easy to add and edit.

It has a Google PageRank of: 4

From the WP dashboard, "There are currently 91 posts and 119 comments, contained within 7 categories."

The reason I started this blog was because I'm a big fan of rap. Because of the fact that I only update every other day or week, it hasn't become "huge." I do however have regular visitors that come every now and then. If the new owner puts in time to update regularly, traffic would skyrocket, no doubt.

This blog would be GREAT for those that are fans of hip hop. Blogging about the latest rap buzz going on is easy and a good way to make some extra dollars.

Traffic
The stats collected by AwStats is a bit skewed because the audio files on the blog are being hotlinked so it's not accurate at all. I installed Google Analytics on the page today so I can post up some stats at the end of the day. I can tell you however that the traffic is roughly between 90-200 uniques a day.

Earnings
I don't play around much with the AdSense on the site but I'm positive that a little tweaking can increase earnings greatly. Here are the AdSense screenshots from July up to today.

What do you mean by that? I update the content via WordPress.

 

well some site are automated using rss feeds from other major sites no maintanance i was looking for something like that.

 

Do you have referrer stats? Also, do you get your news to update the blog from multiple sources or is there simply one site that you go to, where you get info to update the content?

There's about 5-6 hip hop sites that I visit to get my sources. Really, you can just regular the big sites like Allhiphop and SOHH to get new buzz.
