why is it with so many brilliant people on the internet, so many great coders and webdesigners that there is such a huge arrogance and lack of support everywhere? no-one actually seems to help one another, there is hardly any support given and what is provided is so technical that you might as well not bother in the fist place. No one provides tutorials, no one can take time to explain, you just get a load of code thrown at you without a what ,where why or how.. where are the friendly places to be on the internet? where are the forums where people help one another with genuine explanations and tutorials? why does everyone have to be so stuck up their own ass? !!?? maybe i am just having "one of those days"
I feel your pain, but I also know there are a lot of good people that help others and the wheel goes round. Yesterday I posted a tech question on Tek-Tips and in a few hours I had received the answer to my problem. Take a deep breath and know that you are not alone. Merry Christmas - Happy Chanukah
My rant goes to tech support. Now I sure would not want their job but if support does not know the answer say so, do the research necessary to answer the question, then get back to the party asking the question. Shannon
What's the deal with Waffle Houses? The have like 3 different types of hot sauces on each table. I like hot sauce. Damn it this is the worst rant ever. I'll try again later.
Maybe your just hanging out in the wrong places. It's true that there are assholes everywhere but just because they may be the noisiest doesn't make them the majority. There are forums here at Digital Point as well as at other sites where I have both received and given help and support. The trick is just to recognize when you're in the wrong place and move on... Example: If you're actually looking for help about anything whatsoever, don't expect to find it at the Resource Zone.
LOL.. if general chat was worth the rep i would send it understatement... thanks for sharing my pain ..a problem shared !! DP has some great people, they know who they are
