I just created www.ranklr.com and was wondering how to advertise it the best. It's a site where you can see what your pagerank is and what alexa rank you have, also how many backlinks you have.
I would try posting on related forums... Lord knows that internet marketers would be interested! Also, you could do article marketing. Publish articles like "10 Reasons Why Page Rank is So Important" or "How Your Page Rank Affects Your Traffic". If you provide good, solid information, they will be much more likely to click on your link.
start a wordpress blog about SEO and mention your tool there. So far there are many sites which offer what you offer. If you want something out of it. To promote this tool you neeed content around it, or submit it to sites where you can submit tools too like seochat.com
As a start you can try this one . then there is Webproworld , Seochat, and so on. Type in google marketing+forum or seo+forum and so on see what forums you can find

I would create a firefox/chrome extension. I no longer use sites like ranklr because I can see SEO and etc right from a widget in my browser.
