Rankings ?

Hi, my website was ranking in google top 20 for most of the keywords. Then, I did some changes in the title and meta tags and also in the site's content. The reason for it - hoping to get much better ranking for those keywords. But I am in a shock state now as most of the keywords which were in google top 10 are not even showing in top 50 results. Infact, I was ranking on 95th position for one keyword which was on 31 position few days back.

It is very surprising for me. How can it happen all of a sudden? Can anyone suggest me what to do next? Should I redo onpage changes? Or anything..please help..

 

currently i can say you need ti wait for few weeks to be your website rankings normal.
use those keywords in title and meta's which has been used in your content,
otherwise your title and meta will be worthless.

 

just submit to dir use with your keywords for title.

 

Wait n do directory and article submission for those keywords...

 

Can you give me any estimate than how many keywords we must add in meta tags . Like i want to know that if we will add too many keywords than will we get good results and or they will hurt us .

 

no problem, wait some days do continue your work.

 

If you are changing the OnPage factors then mind you should do more OffPage to keep the SEO steady.

 

for title - you can repeat keywords twice.
for meta decription - you can repeat keywords thrice.
for meta keywords - keywords can be repeated 5 times..

 

In doing SEO the your action should be guided by a systematic strategies..but SEO is also a trial and error process...

Yes I would wait at least 2 weeks to see if there is any changes in your rankings for the changes you made on your site.... if nothing after two weeks or so try slowly change things back to the way you had them before your rankings dropped..

Since you do not know this correctly, one can only assume you built crappy links and lost your rankings for artificial link building.

Happens to so many who have no clue of what SEO and reading what others who have to offer as advice and yet they have no clue about SEO
either.

 

So, please let me know it in a better way?

 

Choose effective keywords and use in your title tags/meta without repeating them. Also use sitemap, it will help google to notice the changes you've made recently.

 

First, always put you doman in the tread. It gets brutal sometimes, but you will also get real answers.

Now, if the Top 10 SERPs use two keyword phrases, you use upto two. Not three.

The Meta Description has no real importance so you should use it once.

The Meta Keyword is not used, so use the keyword once. Not for SEO reasons but to document what keyword phrase the page is targeting.

Also, add you Sig links to the bottom so we can see how you are doing your link anchor text to title text. (Example: my internet marketing services link below. View source)

And for the H1 tag, use the phrase once.
