    Hi,

I have a new site (so its PR0 at the moment well N/A.) which I have begun adding to directories and pages based on keywords.

So far I have been using free poker bankrolls and on the google.co.uk site its position varies from around 15-20th.

Now when the PR's gets updated assuming the website goes to 1 or 2 or higher(I can hope! - any ideas when this next happens?) will the site jump up the rankings or stay where it is?

So to the question.... for now should I leave this keyword phrase and move onto the next one, or continue submitting this phrase in the hope of getting higher in the rankings.

I would mix it up. When Google sees all the links using the same anchor text it tends to downgrade the importance of the link.

mix it up and make it look like natural linking not something spammy is my advice.

have like a list of keywords that work with you, then use one with each transaction or use one for one week, the next for the other week and etc. it should work

just use the few set of keywords but might just reposition it a bit. slightly change is better than using the same anchor all the time.

Okay cool, I will move onto the next keyword phrase for a while.

But when the next PR update occurs, if I get a rank would that give me a boost in the rankings?

You should be as creative as possible with your link building, otherwise Google will get the trick.

I have a new site, chemocancer dot com, that for a few days was on top of page 2.for that search term, (chemo cancer)the traffic was nice, but then it disapperd and I cant even find it now. is this an example of "sandboxing" the site and domain is only a week old. Indexed by google but not showing any back links yet. Is there anything I can do or just ride it out? any advice would be great! thanks.

Get some strong back links to your site & put as much content as you can, it's the fastest way out of the "sandbox".
