Ranking youtube videos in Google SERP quick?

    For some of my youtube videos, they show up just for some highly competitive keywords. I'm curious how does google choose to rank youtube in the search results?

    If I were to build backlinks and have several good votes, would that help with my video search results?

    I am not sure about the backlinks but votes will surely help you get higher rank.
