Ranking your Youtube with Social Signals

    Hello Friends

    Somedays ago, i made my first clickbank review video
    and uploaded it to youtube.
    My Aim was to make this video on first page in google
    so i started socializing the video firstly i posted my video
    on facebook from three different accounts, and 1 post
    from 50k fanpage (one of my friends) then i made three
    tweets of that video from single account of mine having
    5k followers. I also wrote an article on tumbler and included
    my keyword in text.
    As i got some natural views arround 500 i bought 10k rentation
    views in 2 days. So by doing all these ways my video jumped to
    2nd page of google.
    So my question is that can i get 1st position if i continue increasing
    only social signals of my video or i have to do some SEO of the video
    also.
    Well i am very happy that with only social signal i got 2nd page still waiting
    for my first sale though.
    My keyword has 9900 US searches exactly with low competition.

    No one can promise or say for sure if you'll get the 1st position. What you've done though seems to be working very well and I'd continue doing it. Congrats on ranking so well. :)

    do you use social signals that are country specific? i.e. would you use German accounts to rank in a German market? If so, can you point me in the direction where i could similarly get country specif social signals?

    You can get country specific social signals from a site called Empire Avenue. It is a virtual stock market and a best place to drive social media engagement. I have success with it in promoting some Youtube videos. We can specify the audience by their interest and categories whom we want to target. So, do check it out.     If your YT video is on the 2nd page, there is hard to get visitors. So you need to boost the YT video to the first page on Google. And there is a good potential to get traffic for monetizing.

    You must do SEO, web 2.0, wikis, just like for regular websites.

    Yes, my experience with YouTube shows that SEO is very important. A few well chosen keywords will do much more for search results and views than most ways of social-network promotion. This is especially true if you have a very niche audience. In other words videos about very specific things which have very specific search key-words will be higher in search results than videos about pop-culture and such.

    SEO is very important.
