    Hey lads,

    I have a question.. if i want to rank well for a term people search through the .co.uk version of google, what are the different steps i have to take from ranking well for a normal .com term? Does my site have to be hosted in a england server?

    Yes, if it is hosted in the UK that greatly helps or uses the .co.uk domain extension.

    So for instance a website that is hosted in France will have greater se rankings on google.fr than google.com ? Huhu

    Yes, but as Mad says you should also look to have UK inbound links.

    Just having a .co.uk will suffice. Getting local links is benefecial for more targetted traffic, but if your aim is to just rank well in the local SERPs, good links from anywhere will rank you!
