I'm having a strange problem, starting last week the ranking tool now says all of my keywords rank 0 across all the engines when previously there were many ranked in the top 10!

I waited 4 days to see if the problem would fix itself but it did not, and I tried google and my site is still ranked for my keywords so why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Google never guarantees any rankings for any of the websites. Try to see whether your banned from google or not.

    Sharing the url might help.

Magically it's fixed. The problem was the keyword tool was having a problem with our url since I added the redirect from mysite.com to www.mysite.com in our .htaccess last week. I remove that and the keyword tool works (and yes I did check options to make sure the urls in there were still correct)! Strange, possibly a bug?

Set the non-www to www redirect again and find another tool.
The redirect is important for your rankings (this way the SEs only index one version of your site).

Have you encountered this problem with sites using the redirect as well?

I've read about the redirect being good for rankings, is this really true? Have you put it into practice on any sites?
