Hello, First of all, you should get a SSL certificate, then install it in your website. When done generate a new XML sitemap and add the new https website to your Google console. Google will start getting your new https pages in the index.
negligible... its like saying if you have your keywords in your domain, then you will rank better... You should not follow all that SEO-Fluff you read online; you do not add SSL to rank better, you add SSL provide safe & secure shopping for your site visitors.... and if you do not have a shopping site, then no reason not to add https anyways, these days, most hosting providers offer SSL for free.... In WMT, you need to tell google on which url version you plan on using... either: https or http If you choose https then you need to point your backlinks too https at the end of the day, not having SSL will not tank your site... It will be from other factors like bad SEO, bad content, crappy site, etc.... (in other words, a site no one wants to visit....)
This is from google blog “Today we’d like to announce that we’re adjusting our indexing system to look for more HTTPS pages. Specifically, we’ll start crawling HTTPS equivalents of HTTP pages, even when the former are not linked to from any page.”
There is no specific way to rank website with an SSL certificate. It is just an additional positive factor in SERPs.
One More thinks you need to do after installing SSL certificate, 301 permanent redirecting from HTTP to HTTPS "There is no connection between SSL certificate and rank"
At present Google first consider SSL version site. after that other version. so take SSL version and install it in your website.
I can't see that there will be a considerable change in the search engine ranking if you add ssl to your website. If you want to rank your website you need to fill it with quality content. Never publish plagiarized content, virtual machine generated articles etc. Regarding ssl it adds trust to your website as it will be seen as more secure by potential customers. A vast majority of hosting providers offer ssl, so there's no reason why you shouldn't add it to your website. Some offer it for no additional cost.
well i dont always believe what i read in the sites but i believe what i see myself SSL gives u an advance to rank up in google
Same as Non SSL websites. You need Good On-Page Optimization and then Quality backlinks. SSL is just One of ranking factor, It will not rank your website Itself in Google.
