Ranking Problem...

Two month ago I created a page with product review. The main keyword was "run your car on water review". More than a month it was on the first place in google. However a few weeks ago it suddenly disappeared from the first place. I thought that google was dancing again. However it can't dance so long. I have been waiting for two weeks but nothing changed. I tried to edit content and build more links but it didn't help. So what is the reason, could you take a look at the page and say what could cause this problem?

It seems to be a very competetive search term. Dont over optimize your page, take out a few run your car on water titles, just keep the main one at the top, and maybe one as near to the bottom of the page as possible. Try to get one quality link to the page. Take out the link in your sig.

I would consider using the keyword tool and finding a less competitive keyword for your topic. It might be that google banned your website or that article however for like fake back links or something.

yeah, "run your car on water review"

this is long tail keyword but very competitive i checked listing, you are going to compete with ezinearticle, nowpublic, squidoo and many more good website,

i think if you have submited any article, you need to delete it, may be because of it's duplicacy problem created.

I'm confused. You say the keyword phrase is "run your car on water review" except in your title tag, meta keyword field (good for Yahoo not google), meta description you do NOT include the full phrase - you leave out the word "review". That right there is a serious problem if you really want the word review in your phrase. google puts a lot of emphasis on matching the title tag to the description to the H1 content to bold content to link names to general content on a page.

You don't make use of your image "alt" elements - one place you can put keywords that give good weight to them because images are supposedly important information and the alt element explains what that important information is.

then in the content, you don't use the word review very much at all. so again, if that word is important to the combined phrase, this is not helping your cause.

And a brief check of the competition shows that you will have to do a lot more to compensate for their authority positions, as well as the number of times they use the individual words that make up the phrase, and all the linking they have.

One problem with your site is that this is only one page on a site where all the other pages have nothing to do with this page - so there's no layered relationship value of content. So it means you need to do even more to add much more content with keyword seeding, and get many more links back, preferably quality authority links.

When I go to other pages on your site that are main links, I do not see the water page as a main link. So this tells the search engines, it's really not a very important page.

There is so much you can do.

Just because I get page one ranking for a short time does not guarantee I will stay there if I don't take all the action described by all of us in this thread - it ALL matters.

If my competition does six out of the top thirteen SEO action "must do" things, then I need to do ten of them, each one better. Because if I don't next week someone else will come along who will.

So that's why personally I focus on ALL of those SEO "must do" things. And I continually do more of the same.

I think it's not a google dance anymore. If it takes a long time to recover the ranking of your keywords then possible that your keywords will totally burried.
