Hey guys maybe someone can help me out. For the past 6 months I will be on pg1 for my keywords in Google for like 2 weeks then all of a sudden I am not even in the index. I thought it was the Google dance but it is happening very often and now it is happening to another one of my sites. When I was going threw my referring sites and seen a bunch of porn site links , Could this be why?
Was your site deindexed or just fall off and deeply buried in serps? If your site was deindexed, then adding it to google's WMT and see if you have a message. It could be keyword stuffing or other causes. If not;Last Aug.29,2012, I've seen people on forums posting that they have seen a decrease or increase on rankings and it might be an algo update and this could be the reason that your site might got hit. Also having porn links, someone has thrown negative SEO on your site and this could really be the cause. So, just determine what is the cause first.
