Ranking on GOOGLE UK?

    Hi,

    I have a travel website. it gets business from around the world. However majorly from the UK. it's a .biz very highly ranked on all search engines, 70,000+ links, however we are only #4 - #9 on our major keywords.

    I have put a UK address, domain is hosted in the UK, meta tags have Uk cordinates, however we are still not ranking better.


    If i tell google from geographic tool that the site is uk based, then it might drop my other rankings.

    what can we do? get more links from .co.uk sites?

    Its all about backlinks. Eventually you will find yourself rank in UK and then with more linkbuilding google.com will follow.
