It is good already that you can maintain old website URL structure. I would recommend you regarding to change on content and others on-page seo elements.

    1. Title tag is the most important on-page seo factor. Any change on this tag no matter how much you made will effect your website ranking for a period of time. Google will have to re-evaluate your new title before judge on ranking. The time cannot be anticipated for exact period, but it could be vary estimated from 3 weeks to 3 months before the ranking come to stable again. You have to use caution when made any change to this tag and please be patient after the change made.

    2. If your website has to change homepage content completely, I would recommend you maintain the overall content meaning and theme as much as possible. The change on content will not effect your website ranking if the minor change has been made. However, there is another case for completely change. Again, Google has to read and define your page content to see if you should have the same ranking or not. This change has almost similar to change on title tag anyway.

    3. You should try yo maintain current elements as many as possible. The elements are - H1 - H6 / Strong - Bold / Underline / etc.

    4. The change on image and image alt tag has a little to no effect toward your website ranking.

Good luck with the change :)
