Hello Friends, I am working on a website which has many pages. I started work on 5th march. I target some of my best keywords on march 12 i got some results but not good. I continue work on it only quality work no over optimization. On march 19 i got mixed results but today when i checked ranking of my keywords it is worst till now. Can you please guide me what can i do to improve results
I suggest you focus on building relevant links to your site as well as getting traffic to it. The more traffic the better. Focus on that instead of the ranking. Once you get more backlinks to the site as well traffic, the ranking will more or less stabilize. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
It is difficult to to say anything without the patient itself. Is your content unique? Actually it is very naive to expect high desirable rankings in a month, especially depending on the niche. People work on websites for years, you need to work hard too. If the rankings are not good you have to do a full site audit and check what's wrong with it, and constantly improve it, considering your competitors and the results you are getting during the work.
I am working on content too. It is unique and i have done site audit too. I have not got any problem so far. Can you please tell me the ways to improve back link quality.
You could do some reasearch for other related niche sites / blogs and build good relationships with them so eventually they could link to your site or make guest posting (offer yourself for writting in those blogs or sites for getting a link). Depending on the type of your site (niche or authority) you could try social bookmarking (building an audience thru Facebook, Twitter, Google + and those followers will link to your site).
