Ranking is dead in Google ?

hi

i have notice in last couple of days, most of website will be down in google which having good ranking prevously but its going down side,

my majority of website down, what about your websites in google ?

 

If a website is down, another one is up. So, ranking is never dead .
Personally, my site is up .

 

When you say "down" means, not in search result... Google algorithm updates are always on the way and you will be affected in no time.

 

Are you talking about SERPs or pagerank or servers being down?

 

Such UP/Down happens in serps and most likely its temporary

 

Pagerank won't die because it's the heart of Google. Unless Google decided to use a brand new algorithm and discarded their current system which is very unlikely.

 

I have about 5 sites and the Google rankings are mostly the same. Some rankings had a slow increase though

 

You should say decrease ranking instead of down, well but i think you need to working more on SEO in make it raise

 

this heppened to me many times
all traffic from google disappears for many days ,sometimes for ten days then every thing comes back to normal and i don't know why

Yes, I encounter the same issue, i'm waiting for 3 days to come back in google where I was but untill now nothing happened, damn

 

I have to say I waiting for changes in seprs for 3 days as well.. maybe there's something going on that we don't know about..

A site's ranking in the serps can fluctuate on a regular basis there are many
different reasons for this if your site is new or if your niche is competitive
and you have not built enough backlinks to sustain your position, your site
may move around quite a bit in the serps.

 

There does seem to be a bit of a dance on lately with some of my site slightly up and others way down.

 

If your talking about SERP then that is just normal. Try to do your SEO daily so that you would get a better result.

I have/had the same problem with one of my high traffic anime blog. I had about 3-4k UV/ day, getting now (last 3 days only 1.5k). It's same today will be mutch better, 2k+. The site is ofc authority. On orther side my HD wallpapers page getting almost each day the same ammout of traffic soon 3 months 1.2k w/o any work.

May was last days something wrong wtth google, may not, only google knows (if)...
