I'm just wondering if anyone could explain why this is happening; There is a site ranking #1 in Google for me (UK and using www.google.com) but it ranks on the second page for someone using the same network using www.google.co.uk, www.google.com and Google SSL.

Neither of us are logged into a Google account. It's a strange error.

Those results are depending on Google data center.

But, we are on the same network, out IP's should be the same, so why would it display differently for the both of us?

Clear your cookies and try searching for the same terms again. It should solve your problem.

its not actually strange dude. cause Google determine the rank / position of your site according to the value of that site in different regions of the world. so the position varies from one place to another.
    thanks

Just clear your cache and see if it goes back. If you are using Firefox, you might face this problem over again.
