    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could offer some advice on ranking in google.co.uk and .com

My main site ranks #5 or #6 in google.com for a competitive keyword.

In google.co.uk the same site and keyword puts me on Page 4.

My site is a travel site trageting people from the UK so obviously i would like to rank higher on google.co.uk. I know that having sitename.co.uk will help but my main competeters still rank very high on both with a .com domains so I know it's possible.

Question is, how can you improve your sites position on .co.uk when your domain is a .com?

    JP

hi how old is your site?

if your site is uk it should rank slightly better in uk results than in .com results.

i found this happenened to me on a bodybuilding site but the other way round to you.

Actually, that is not always the case. Some sites in the uk are very powerful and rank higher then any .coms listed their. Depends on the term really :)
