Ranking goes down..reason..?

from last 2 months two keywords were coming on 2nd and 5th page of google....
..but today i found that they are not even in top 50 pages....
What could be the reason for it?

 

1) What is your site?
2) Have you made any changes?
a) if so, what are they? and how long ago did you make the changes?

There are many factors of loss of rankings.
Sometimes Google will lose your site for a week and you'll be back where you were the following week.
But we cannot help you unless you let us know your site and if you've done any types of changes.

 

As the above poster indicated, we can't tell you much without a link.

Agreed, a fair assumption would be lack of updates/new links, or lots of new competition.

 

recently many of my ranking also drop, dont know what happen

 

I would say lack of updates or new links.

 

check previous back link for those particular keyword & create good relevant back links.

What are the keywords your bidding for?

There are a number of reasons but I would say the 1st reason is your keywords are fairly competitive, try ranking for lower competitive keywords.

 

You surely had some changes on your site i.e on-site changes or you lack in building good quality links.

 

your sites were banned or listed on sandbox.

ranking drops cause you got a challenger who is working their asses off to rank high + it might be that google starts noticing you removed some great keywords which can affect you being ranked high. Also make sure you don't have similar content to other site as 2 same, i wouldn't have on my SE if i had it, i would just delete one.

 

I think sometimes when we find our major keywords are showing high in google search i think people tend to take it easier thinking that it will stay on top but in reality its not like that and we have to continue striving to keep ahead of the competition.
As someone has mentiond the more work you put into SEO the more you will get out,we have been slaving away at this for many months on this and we are seeing the results at last,we are currently sitting at No24 in google for the major keyword filehosting i have to admit our site is not a masterpiece as many are better looking but we can also say that we must be doing something right to get higher positions.

If people are willing to put the efforts in the results will come with time.

 

Search for your domain, it it is not top for that search, it is likely you have a google penalty
