Ok so I grabbed a website with keywords in the URL and I rank very well in the Search Engine Rankings.....but I have a dilemma. The site is Honda Certified Hybrids and people come to the website looking for Honda vehicles.... All I have is content with adsense.....and I make a few bucks...but how can I get vehicles on my site? I was thinking about getting an Ebay plugin that shows car listings....this is a Wordpress site so there are some good plugins out there My question is should I plop down $100 on a plug in and have listings? If I do this...I know people will click these. But what kind of money can be made through Ebay's affilliate program? Am I better off just optimizing better for adsense?
Depending on how Honda feels about use of a trademarked name you may not have to worry about what to do with it now.
You're better off using Adsense. I've never heard of someone buying an actual CAR without using a reliable website (autotrader). You can go ahead and try it, but I don't think you'll have a high conversion rate.
I think for now, keep with the adsense. Spend your money on paying people to write articles for you, or write them yourself about the topic. There is tons of news and updates in your niche, I think it would be rather easy. I think you should focus your efforts on making your site a legitimate source for hybrids and make money by being a source for real information. The last update looks like it was almost a year ago...
What do you think the audiences come from keyword " Honda Certified Hybrids" are looking for? I think they are looking for information instead of purchase anything, unless you can offer services related to Honda Hybrid. If I were you, I would contact Honda company and asking if they might interest to advertise on your website, or hire you to write some positive reviews about Honda Hybrid. You may consider to put up some forums in subdomain / subfolder and monetize from peoples who love Honda Bybrid by banner ads or Adsense.
I do think people are looking for used car listings not information.....I really don't want to contact Honda as I doubt they are interested in advirtising. The real question is how can I put car listings on the site and make the most from it? IE.....how is the ebay affiliate program work? Is it worth me buying a $100 wordpress plugin
I think if you develop this domain, then you will not have to contact honda, they will be contacting you. maybe you should post in legal and see what others think...
