Ranking for multiple phrases for a single page with no content or SEO

    I have been able to rank top ten for multiple phrases in google for a single page with just a product name and image and no other content or SEO in a COUPLE DAYS...

    Probably phrases with little to no competition. For example if your website was called faow3ifjwf3.com, then you would easilty rank for faow3ifjwf3 as well as faow3ifjw and faow3

    Could be just a temporary issue. Webmaster tools shows me ranked in position 6 and 20 for 'robots.txt' and 'robot.txt', my site is nowhere in the top 100 for this keyword and neither have i optimized any page on my site for that keyword. Just a minor Google glitch.

    It was for a product so not gibberish and there where 25k+ results roughly.
    There IS competition for my example but i see what your saying.

    It took a few thousand backlinks a hour for a day to accomplish this feat but this sheds some light on the weight of backlinks compared to content and SEO.

    Seen similar results produced multiple times now and its not a glitch... its a kickass backlinking strategy. And if you add some content it takes a fraction of backlinks to see similar results.

    No mate, i still say its a glitch/error. Off-page holds much more priority but its no way possible to rank for such a competitive keyword in a fortnight withhout any Off-Page SEO.

    Of course you say it’s impossible because it blows your version of how things are set up.  I am not using this method on pages with no content as a plan of action.  That was just an example test I ran.  I am using it on established websites and it’s working incredibly well and takes far less linking.

    Initially, the keyword phrases I selected for the site were nowhere to be found in the first 1000 positions. Then after less than 2000 links in two days, then searching the keyword phrases again a few days later, I ranked 5th and 11th for those keyword/phrases.

    The website in question http://www.therecipegeek.com/ that i promoted for free to prove my services to the client. The two phrases were Cooking Recipes for Food Lovers and Cooking And Food Recipes... no quotes.
