i have a keyword domain(.info) and that keyword is having around 8million results in google that site is not yet launched. will it be easy for me to rank in the top 5 will google rank me in the first round itself ?
In the first round? What do you mean? You have to optimize your site for that keyword, having it in the url will help but there are other factors to consider, around 100 of them p.l.u.r.
I have two keyword domains I setup the first quarter of this year. Neither ranked, in Google, at all for the keyword (ie: word1word2word3.info = a search in google of: word1 word2 word3). If I typed in: word1word2word3 with no spaces, then yes, but with spaces between the words, as a keyword phrase search...they did not start ranking until I came out of the "sandbox" about two weeks ago. That may not be the case with all, but the two I setup; no luck ranking for the keywords in the domain with spaces between them for about eight months. How competitive they are could obviously play a role as well. Mine were pretty competitive.
I have also 4 words domain and it took me 7 months with a lot of SEO work to be on the first page with Google when searching for that 4 words term, with MSN you have a good chance to be on the first page in a short time
The Google Sandbox is an alleged filter placed on new websites. It's acts as a probation for new sites, possibly to discourage spam sites from rising quickly, getting banned, and repeating the process. As a result of this a site does not receive good rankings for its most important keywords and keyword phrases.
Just implement all the SEO techniques on this forum here and then cross your fingers and pray for the best These include things like including your keywords/keyphrase in the Title, MetaTags, h1, h2, and also as Anchor Text in all your backlinks. There are many many more, just look around
so what would be the investment i should make for SEO. and until my site gets good rankings how do i get traffic?
I would optimze the homepage for main keyword that you want, But optimize your inner pages for keywords that are not that competitive, at least this way you can start ranking for the smaller terms and thus get traffic that way.
if you optimize your site , you will get in top 10 on serp . a domain which has info extesÅŸon is nothink
I think it is not an easy task but still possible Keywords domain helps greatly in MSN but not Google. However, if you can attract a huge amount of quality inbound links, Google will view it differently
Not true for huge keywords in google, sites with keyword domains rank better a little easier than sites that dont have em
