Major Ranking factors for Google are: - 1. 24% Trust/Authority of the Host Domain 2. 22% Link Popularity of the Specific Page 3. 20% Anchor Text of External Links 4. 15% On-Page Keyword Usage 5. 7% Traffic and Click-Through Data 6. 6% Social Graph Metrics 7. 5% Registration and Hosting Data
Where you get that stats? Google takes about 200 factors in account while ranking a page, according to Matt Cutts.
They could be naturally some of the factors Google considers while evaluating the ranks of the websites but there are tens of other elements which may only be known to the Google team. Links plus domains trust are really among the big ones.
Even is this statistic was true, what about "Trust/Authority of the Host Domain"? Is there a specific way to get this? I never seen specific matrix for this one ever, only own assumption.
Do you have any official source in support of these data. I think it is just someone's prediction. There are a lot of factors which Google consider for ranking, and big Google never reveals any weighted percentage for those factors.
