Ranking differnece between countries

What is the reason of ranking in India and US. On particular keyword, ranking is on first page of google and in US , on second page.

What do you think?

I think it happened due to the sources which we used for promotion Google prefer the local sources if you promote your site in US sites you will get ranked in US

 

ranking is of particular keyword in diffrent countries is unique because it depends on how much visitors need information regarding this

 

Different result from different countries is due to reason
Google use different data center to rank in diff. country.
Setting in Google webmaster tool for geo targeting.
Backlinks from Ip of particular countries,
There are some more reason.

 

Geographical location targeting should used to set where you want to target your web site and this can be done in your Google Webmaster Tool,you have to choose and select Geographical Location their.
Some factors are also effect geo targeting like.
a.Domain Name Extension e.g. .com is id set to global by default and .in is set to target at Indian location same as .UK is for United Kingdom.
b.Keywords used in title,tags,meta tags and content also used to display your web site at specific location searches e.g. If you used "Books In India" then search engine consider that you want to target Indian Visitors.
c.Host location is another issue which matters while we are talking on that matter your host location is used to set your targeting location by search engines.
d.Addresses in your web pages are the part of your website content and location in the address is also effecting location targeting.

 

Google will rank the keyword at different position in different countries.

 

I would like to mention here its because of different data center. Google's having different-different data centers for different-different country.

 

I think its depend on visitors according to the countries.
