hi ..I am shocked...when I saw SERP of my site. My all keyword are down. Before this updation my keyword was at 2nd position ..today keyword is at 11th position Is there any updation has been done..
No as for my knowledge is concerned so far there is no update in google. You might not be working on your keywords or you website might be old you should redesign it
What do mean by updation here. Dear google only updates page rank in a few period. The ranking change is continuous process. You can see changes even in hours.
Concentrate on getting backlinks to increase ranking & also for get your ranking stable in the search engines
yes, last week my keywords ranking also lost....Who came up in 2nd page of google goes to 6 th page of google.
Decrease in ranking may be due to the recent Google Panda Update in February. May be your site has suffered because of this.
Well, as for my knowledge, google is still polishing its last Panda Update. So when you think your site is moving here and there, just continue doing your SEO work..
Recently no update has been done by Google. This may be because of your competitors doing well. Make more quality back links to beat your competitors.
Check your competition. Have they been active lately in on and of page optimization? Just build more links to your site and you should be fine. If you have been doing everything by the book in Google eyes then your site should come back soon. But if your competition is picking up, then you have only one thing left. Be better than they are, build more links!!! regards
Don't get Panic, Ranking change is continuous process. Concentrate on quality backlinks & add fresh content on ur website.
Yaa as I know google changes ranking every time , So you need work daily on your site to consist your ranking
Now panda update has been implemented globally.... So, that could be one reason for your ranking: http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2011/04/high-quality-sites-algorithm-goes.html Other things that can cause ranking fluctuations: Google likes to be helpful. One of the things it does to be helpful to it's users (searchers) is to personalise their results a bit. That means what they see may be tailored towards their habits/trends etc. Thus it is possible that whilst logged in to a Google Account - the results you see may differ. That may include the results changing when you use a different computer/browser as well. What you can do? - Logged out of G Accounts - Opted out of Personal Search - Use the same computer - Use the same browser - Use the same Search page - Use the same Search settings Source : http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Webmasters/thread?tid=7151087279bde243&hl=en
Well it depends since when was the last time you worked for your keywords. It might be possible that your competitors or other authority sites which are on the top now and have overtaken your rankings are doing something more than what you do. So start getting my backlinks and plan your keyword ranking campaign more properly. I dont think it might be the panda effect because it was undertaken by google for more than a month now and most of us have seen its results
You might need to check Google blog to get an answer! recent updates were Panda & Farmer {farmer mainly effected directory sites which were indeed working as link & content farms} that means you are getting tough competition & need to put more into it to maintain your rankings...
Just checked my auto parts website for google.co.uk (my main market) and main keyword phrases still ranking the same (in the top 5 on page 1). To be honest I have not done much work promoting this site for the last 6 months and the rankings do not vary much. Most of my linking is from related websites, no articles, forums or blogs. Hopefully rankings stay this way. Chow chow, Kevin
Almost nothing changes happened at the keywords I optimized, maybe your site is punished by Google or you are facing strong competitor.
check your keyword again and continue doing off page activity for your site, for keyword ranking social bookmarking is helpful for you.
