So, i have this site thetire.blogspot.com (date of creation the end of august 2010). The problem is that i get most of my traffic from google image search. The truth is that when i upload an image i always use a good and searched name for it. Is this thing temporary or may stay like this?
Well, from what I can see from your site, you have a lot of images, which is a good thing... If you want more links coming from other sources, you'll need to build backlinks with the anchor text in it and you also have to do some optimization on your site accordingly. Just be happy that you're at least getting traffic from your pics. Some people don't even tag their images...
i know that i have to get more backlinks, and i am working on the optimization. The main poblem is that i was/i'm scared because of this. i guess that you know what kind of traffic is that comes from image searches. Not worth much, when you earn revenue from adsens or affiliate programs.
Not often you hear of people getting more hits from images than links. Be happy and continue with linkbuilding and social networking

If you are getting traffic through Google Images, then it is good for you. For search engine traffic keep working on for building links through different off page activities
