I have an ex back blogger blog here: http://getyourexback-fast2.blogspot.com/ I am getting some traffic to the blog and from my stats they are clicking through to see the price but they aren't purchasing. I have made sales but looking for more consistency with sales. I don't know what it is. For the most part I am targeting "long tail" keywords. If you google How to get your ex back after a bad break up Im in position 1. I don't know what Im doing wrong. Any suggestions?
$39.00 is a lot for an impulse buy like this. You might want to try testing different price points for the product.
Well, if there are other products that fit the bill for your blog, you could test them to see which converts the best.
I would look for ex back products that retail for less as stated above. Did you try commission junction?
The magic "whatever its only xx$" mark is around 10 - 20, try to find a product that is cheaper, add a stronger CTA as well as more images.
This isn't what you asked for but I think it could help increase your click through rate. - Images. I would definitely add some images as previously suggested. This helps to break up the text a little bit. - Add sub headlines and make them stand out. Compare your page to the product page to see what I'm getting at. Pictures and headlines make it easier on the eyes. - Emphasize your CTA. Make the text link bigger or use an image that grabs attention. Hope that's useful!
You should get off the "Blogger" blog and get something that gives you more control like Wordpress. Anyday Google can ban your Blogger blog, and you WONT get it back. No matter how hard you plead. Anyway, focus on building a list first. A redesign on your blog will be helpful too.
Randall is correct, get away from blogger and get a Wordpress blog that you can host yourself. Also use pretty link to cloak your affiliate link as Clickbank raw hop links look horrible.
It took me a while to even find where your affiliate links were. I'd take a different approach if I was targetting this. More colour, more pictures and be upfront that you're selling. Yes, give info but let them know that you can hold their hand through the process etc.
