I have ranked in top 10 of many keywords in yahoo.But nothing in google. Can anyone advise me some methods ?

each major search engines have their own algorithm based on which they rank sites. Yahoo pays more importance to number of backlinks and accepts nofollow links while google pays more inportance on quality content, quality of links, and doesn't include nofollow links. just follow a couple fo your competitors on google and find out about their site structure and where they are getting their backlinks form. tracking competitors usually give you a good sense as to what needs to be done
i have seen people face the reverse problem - not ranking well in yahoo but well in google - this is surprising as i thought the latter was more difficult to rank with... anyone any idea how this situation can arise?
For google you need to have quality backlinks and not just any backlinks as in case of yahoo. Google mostly is a search engine while yahoo has more things to concentrate than search.
My only link building method for that site is forum posting..........! So google dont find value for it
Yahoo and Google are totally different yahoo algorithms and Google algorithms are different as yahoo follow no follow link but Google don't follow no follow link....to get the ranking in yahoo easy...
Yes Yahoo follows no follow links and google doesn't its often debated that Google tries to see the relevancy of the content and keywords first while yahoo backlinks but thats just a talk You cannot predict how algorythm works . And i am pretty sure not even a person at google knows how that works and thats what keeping them together and working up and up
