Hi guys I searched to post this on the correct forum, but Im still not sure where to post so here it goes. My site (6 weeks old) http://www.tuningcentral.net My keywords car tuning news and tuning news. Ranked first on google ahead of my main competition sites (who btw have 100K+ daily visits) According to google keyword tools those both keywords have a average of 1.000.000 searches yearly which gives around 800.000 oer month..so my question goes... Why do I only have 100 visits daily? and NOT from google.
Firstly, how do you know your competitors are getting 100K+ daily visits? Secondly, I'm surprised you are even getting 100 daily visitors for those keywords! Those keywords don't have good search volume.
what 'google keyword tool' did you use? According to the google adwords keyword tool car tuning news gets 58 searches a month
A - Those terms might not even have many searchers B - The results you see in google aren't the same as the rest of the world & can vary at any time. Are you on a google account? They might even be customized for you. Sign up for google's webmaster tools and it'll tell you the average position some people might see your site at
According to Google's Keyword tool the search phrase car tuning news is only getting a search volume of 36 per month (I didn't check the other one) So, There's your answer
Yes I agree with you just use: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal This is giving pretty accurate results Actually I just do not agree with so big difference between searches result last months, but still I'm investigating this
Random Guy No Im searching logged out from google account, the funny thing is now my secodn site (blog) shows up in 5th and the site in question here simply vanished. Madga I used the same, but not for car tunign news but for car tuning As you can see on the img there millions of searches. Now I can be wrong, considering that having car tuning news keyword is relevant for car or tuning searches... shouldnt it be?
dude you have it all wrong. you are looking at single keywords and broad match, and combining the keywords. this is not how you do keyword research.
