Try adding H1 tags into yoru site. Yahoo is almost the same Google so when you optimize for Google, you are also optimizing for Yahoo.
i optimized my website for google and it gets much more visitors from yahoo + a better Serp, but it´s both on the first site so it´s ok anyways, but yahoo still keeps my website at second position under wikipedia while google changes my SERP often from the first place till the third page....
I do not think yahoo is similar with google,you know the position of my site in these sites are different,in google,i often can not find my page at the first page,but in yahoo,i can find it. I think the algorithm are differents.
