I have a flash website and I want it to rank first in google for the following keywords: - wedding photography london - wedding photographer london - portrait photography london - portrait photographer london I don't have to tell you how saturated those keywords are, but do you think it's at all possible to create a campaign that would get my website to at least first page, first 3 results ranking in google? Only serious pros please!
ya its possible but there is lots of problem cause how my competitor site you already have? did you check it? and can you tell the position of those keywords? you must analyze these 2 factor. cause your target is only those keyword.
Submit your site to UK based directories and write some articles to Ezine, if the ranking isn't still improved, then buy some text links.
It is possible but you need to know what it will take to do it. How many backlinks, etc... There is software that will help you determine that. Chances are you will have to outsource if you are asking a question like this. You can always do Adwords and get to the top.
I think the biggest problem you will have is the fact that its a FLASH website. You need to get a much better HTML website up which is also SEO friendly.
Website Deck, Great site. I read recently that Directory submission does not hold the value that it once did. Do you have a comment on that? I really don't know and don't experiment with it enough. I have IBP and loaded a list of 1000 directories and was going to do it on semi-auto but did not want to waste the time nor outsource it if it is not as valuable as other forms of backlinking... whatcha think?
hi BUGinski, You have to do firstly some on page for your website like, first two keyword place in title having URL related to wedding photography and other two keyword place in title having URL related to portrait photography. After doing this on-page you have to do high PR directory submission and bookmarking for all keywords separately. I hope you'll get soon your all keywords in Google first page.
you need quality backlinks, submit your website and article about your site to gain the backlinks, also create fan page in facebook and send friends request also update regularly. This will increase your backlinks which will eventually increase pr.

I know quite a lot about SEO, perhaps not as much as some of you here, but don't send me pms with sample work for keywords like company names as those rank quite easily. My www is first in google for "robert peter" and "robert peter photography" lol Someone serious out there who would like to help?
First if all, move to html, css, javascript from flash if you want your site to be on top ! As google doesn't rank flash websites well, in general..

Thanks for your reps people! I might outsource someone to do it for me. Not sure about changing to HTML/CSS though. Flash is quite popular with photogs (which is probably why they don't rank that well hehe). Would you say that changing to HTML is a necessity??
Having flash website is not a problem but you have to be careful that there is some content on the website which spiders can index. Also the loading of the website. it should not take lot of time to load the website.
