Rank Checking Software?

Is anyone using this software to check their search engine positions? If yes, I'd be grateful for your review?

    http://www.advancedwebranking.com/

If not, how do you monitor your positions in the search engines?

    Thanks.

If you just want a tool to monitor your search engine rankings you might want to install Aaron Wall's Rank Checker plugin for firefox which is free and it does work.

Not as advanced as the one you just mentioned, but however it does tell you where you rank. As far as it concern the software you mentioned, nope I have no experience with it.

yes, I am using it. It is better than my last software (TopDog) - one feature of it that I like is the fact that it will automatically send reports to my clients (and also to myself) once a month when I schedule it to do so. I have not had a good play with the software yet, but there looks like there is a lot more to it that what I am using it for right now... I will be buying the proffessional version after my trial period is up.

Thanks guys, appreciate your reports. I just installed the Firefox Ronk Checker, first impression, looks good. Price is right. :)

I was impressed that AdvancedWebRanking has a Mac version, but I may have to upgrade my OSX to use it. Will report back if I can learn more.

I use SEO Elite among others.

It's far form perfect, but I can plug in 100 (or virtually any number) of keywords and it will tell me where I am at for each keyword, and keep a daily, weekly, monthly record as well.

    Not free, but worth considering.

Google seo elite to see the webpage. It's a clickbank product so you can refund in 60 days if it proves to be no good for you.

Web CEO does a pretty good job checking rankings. Also has some nice reports to make it easier to find the pages you need to work on. IBP and SEO Elite are also recommended

I'll vote for Rank Tracker as someone else has mentioned. It's dedicated to that task with a KEI and keyword calculator built in. It stores history logs and gives a quick indication of how much up or down a keyword was from the last scan. You won't believe how active Google is compared to Yahoo or MSN! Many keywords change every day.

    Daily?

In my experience, 3-4 times per day sometimes, particularly with highly competitive keywords.

    Google rankings are that fluid.

    Cheers

Someone in another forum mentioned free monitor for google which seems really nice (even works in linux via wine...) http://www.cleverstat.com/en/google-monitor-query.htm It looks like you can save keyword searches by url and then rerun - you can even annotate (maybe good for logging marketing changes?)

I used to like IBP for rank checking, but recently the rankings are not accurate at all!. I think Google, Yahoo and MSN block rank checks after a number of checks. Can anyone help?
