Is it possible to rank #1 in google in 3 days, if there is 1000 competitors and the site that ranks #1 is very new site.

 

In days only possible if you have no competitors. My view it is.

 

Nope, if you have competitors its impossible long term.

You could of course use blackhat which would push you to the top (which i don't use) but then a week later you will be excluded from index

 

It depends, Just yesterday I saw a page in top of google after being published on the same day.

If you have authority + No competitors for that keyphrase + Fresh unique content than u can easily come on Top.

It's hard to rank that high for a new site with lots of competitors

 

Its hard to get to the top,it takes months of optimization. If you don't have competitors maybe its possible. Good targeted Keywords, content,and lastly good SEO company is the key to get to the top.

it can be possible if you've got very good SEO Team and if there is very less competitors in your serarch terms.

or its not possible in this high traffics for search engines.

If your company name or site name is unique and you search on that only (in quotes), I suppose yea a #1 ranking is possible, even with a million competitors. Otherwise, nada.

 

i was once on top of google within short period all i did was submitted my site to digg and propeller and stumbleupon and made front page, the next i was on top of google for certain keywords.

 

Of course is posible:

one of my new sites, competition 376.000, got #1 in G after 3-4 days. Funny thing, it's only 3 lines of text

No black Hat, no social marketing, no Dir sub's, nothing. Just a domain name + 3 lines of text.

So yeah, its possible, trust me.

 

I found a way last year to jump into the top of the SERPS. There are some classified ad sites with high PR. By optimizing the text in the ad I managed to put the same ad into different classified ad sites and produce the result of 4 ads in the top 10 and 7 in the top 20 for my targeted search term which was "New York bad credit loans". NY is a big financial town and very competitive. I managed to keep my ads in position. The only problem was that they expire each month and need to be replaced.

I was hoping for some backlink action but got seriously disappointed in that regard. The upside was that freshbot is all over some of these classified ad sites like several times a day in some cases. One of my ads was actually in Google's top 10 within 15 minutes of placing it.

Yes it's possible. But your will not stay there for long.

 

Craigslist postings will get you to the top for a few days but not for a long term play. You can also blackhat your way to the top and you'll stay there until a competitor rats you out.

Domains with your keywords in them will get your ranked out the gate, but maybe for only 2 weeks or so - as with most things search related to Google, if you want the top spot in Google and expect to retain it, you have to have a process in place to continually get links and hopefully content.

PS- the reason things temporarily pop up at #1 is due to the "query Deserves Freshness(QDF)" algorithm used by Google - check it out, it's a nice way to get some great traffic and exposure for any site.

 

Actually the reason things pop at # 1 is link spam.....

Been this way for four years or so...

Google's one weakness is new links, and so a site will see temporary gains, till the crappy links are scored and discounted for being crappy links and then the site falls to who knows where......

 

1000 competitors is a laughter for an experienced SEO. Yes it's perfectly possible - if not in three days - I think it won't need more than a week.

 

Yes, it's possible and easy to get top listings, but staying on top is a bit tricky.

1000 competition is not even easy a 5 years kid can do it ...
